Please introduce yourself, family and home environment when you email us at XXXX@gmail.com Adoptable GigiBreed: Shih Tzu Weight: 6 lbsAge: 2 years old Approximately Sex: Spayed Female Energy level: Medium Cats: Not Tested Dogs: Loves other friendly small-breed dogs and ones to play with. Kids: Older children over the age of 10. Medical: Moisture Eyes Drops as needed. Please note that basic force-free dog obedience training classes are a mandatory requirement for adoption from Heart Prints Dog Rescue Society. These classes are not included in the adoption fee and must be completed before finalizing the adoption process. I am Gigi, a delightful spayed female Shih Tzu, approximately 2 years of age. I am currently seeking a compassionate and patient family who can understand and support my ongoing potty training journey. While I have not received formal training in this area, I am making progress with the assistance of Heart Prints Dog Rescue Society. I am gradually improving my use of pee pads and have demonstrated the ability to go potty outside when provided with a covered potty break area that protects me from the elements. During colder weather, I appreciate the comfort of puffer dog jackets to keep me warm. To ensure a successful transition, I kindly request that my potential adopters carry me outside and accompany me during potty breaks. I am eager to meet Joanna at For The Love of Paws Pet Services, where I can receive the necessary training to become a well-behaved companion. Please be advised that this training is a non-negotiable requirement for my adoption from Heart Prints Dog Rescue Society. I am crate trained for sleeping during the night or when you are away from the house. I require someone who understands the importance of daily eye cleaning to prevent eye infections, although I may not enjoy it, I tolerate it. I display excitement during mealtimes by dancing on my hind legs. However, I do bark, making me unsuitable for apartments, condos, or townhouses. I tend to bark when excited, playing, eating, or when my personal space is invaded by another dog. A busy household with constant people coming and going would not be an ideal environment for me. **Disclaimer: We only adopt to force free homes, the adoptive family must continue force free practices after adoption. We are volunteer based and although we would love to respond to all interested potential adopters we can only contact the homes we want to move forward with for an adoption.
