Cassy is a 48 lb lab cross who may be about 10 years old. Cassy was found tied near the gates of the SPCA PV sanctuary in Puerto Vallarta the morning after a hurricane, with a box full of her puppies. The surviving pups have all found homes in Canada and are thriving. Would be lovely if this mamma also found a home. Cassy is a calm girl who likes walks with volunteers to check out the scents and sounds of the world. Cassy has visited a home with cats and ignored them (though would be tested again if she was a candidate for a home with a cat). She is good with dogs in the shelter, but reacts if there is a fence. She is keen for affection from visitors. Cassy is now spayed, after likely having multiple litters and she's a healthy girl.
