This shy, but beautiful, polite and friendly man is looking for the perfect home to call his own. Wombat has been shifted to many foster homes due to no fault of his own, as such, we really want to find his forever home where he can be stable and happy. Wombat is a shy little fella, but will accept pets and scratches on his terms. He absolutely loves chin scratches and even enjoys the occasional belly rub! All of his shyness is forgotten with food, and he enthusiastically rubs all over his foster's legs and purrs when dinner time approaches! He has a very patient and lovely personality, once he gets used to his human. Wombat gets along absolutely wonderfully with the resident cats, and would do very well in a home with some friends to play with. His best friend in his current foster home is the rowdy resident kitten. He also loves playing with his feather wand and with other toys in the house. Wombat doesn't meow, but makes the most adorable and funny trilling noise when he's curious - his fosters compare it to the sound a toy car makes. The perfect home for Wombat will be an adopter who is willing to continue to gently push his boundaries and not permit him to hide where he can't be reached (i.e. the couch). Wombat is a very clever explorer and will stay hidden if he can! When not hidden, he is fairly accepting of attention especially when food is involved. While we hope that Wombat will continue to open up and get more social with time, his potential adopter will have to understand that his shy nature might just be a part of his adorable personality! Apply to meet the wonderful Wombat now!Any special needs or traits the adopter should know about? (we may add this to the bio): He is very shy and scared of new people.
