Buddy was rescued from the shelter in Houston on April 18, 2024, having been picked up as a stray. He's just a little guy, only about 7 months old and 32 pounds. Lucky for Buddy, being a sweet little puppy, he was able to get a spot in a fantastic foster home, where he's been showing off that he's already comfortable living in a house. He has perfect manners so far -- as long as you keep your shoes safely out of reach! Buddy is a friendly, socially driven little guy who wants to be in the middle of the action. He loves the company of other dogs and will prefer a home where he won't be left all alone when his people go to work. He has not been cat-tested. We haven't had tons of time to get to know this little tyke yet! So far he's been a delightful, happy, playful young dog who just seems ready to get started on living his best life. Stay tuned as we learn and discover more of Buddy's likes and dislikes and the cute little quirks that make him unique. This doesn't mean he's not available for adoption! He can travel all over the continental US and most of Canada. Alternatively, we'd be happy to find him a foster home up here in Ontario.
