My name is Oreo Male neuteredI am 1 1/2 years oldBlack and white Tuxedo I am extremely calm and spend my days sleeping and sunbathing by the window. When I am awake, I love to look outside and watch the birds and squirrels. I like to be in the same room with my foster mom and I sleep on the bed with her at night. I am very talkative and will let my foster mom know if I am hungry or if I want attention. I love to be petted and talked to.... and I will purr very loudly in return!! I am not fond of being picked up and held, but I can be carried for short distances before I start to wiggle. I love to sit right beside you on the couch or bed, but don't really enjoy being on your lap. I am really a "people cat . I prefer to hang out with the humans rather that the other cats. Wand toys and balls that are hanging from something (like my scratching post) are my favourite toys. If you are looking for a very peaceful kitty that wants to spend time with you, then I am a perfect match for you!! My reactions to:Cats-I currently live in a house with other cats, but really have no interest in interacting or sleeping with them. I don't get upset when they come near me....I just ignore them and walk away. Children- I have been around some older children and I like to have them pet me as long as they are not making loud noised or running around. Meeting New People- I am a bit timid when I first meet anyone but once I know that I am safe I will become their best friend. Dogs-We are not sure how Oreo will react to dogs.
