Description:

Hi. My name is Pino and here is some info about me: Breed: Golden Retriever/LabradorAge: 1 YearGender: MaleWeight:44 lbHighlight(s): Good with other dogs, people Hey there, I'm Pino, and let me tell you, life's been quite the adventure so far! I started my journey as a stray, just a tiny pup exploring the big wide world. But fate had other plans for me, and I found myself at the shelter, where I've been ever since. Despite my rocky start, I've managed to become one of the most beloved pups at the shelter. Full of life and brimming with energy, I love nothing more than playing with all my furry friends here. But as much as I enjoy the shelter life, I can't help but wonder what lies beyond these walls. I may be a little shy at first, especially when meeting new people, but show me a little love – maybe even a treat or two – and I'll be your best friend for life. Gentle by nature, I've never shown any aggression or resource guarding. I just want to spread joy and receive love in return. But deep down, I dream of something more. I dream of finding a loving family and a home I can call my own. Imagine sleeping in a soft bed and having toys to call my own – it's a dream I've never dared to hope for until now. And oh, the adventures we could have together! From dog parks to long walks and maybe even a dip in the water, the possibilities are endless. So if you're looking for a loyal companion who will love you more than life itself, please consider giving me a chance. I'm such a good boy, and I can't wait to meet you and embark on this new chapter of my life. Let's make dreams come true – together. Energy Level: high requires daily physical activities. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems. Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website.##2038445##Adoption processWe offer a foster to adopt program for adopters of overseas dogs. As they will be taking their dog home straight from the airport, they have a couple of weeks to decide if the dog is a fit. In the rare times the dog isn’t found suitable we will find the dog another home.
