Hello, my name is Kirk and I came into the shelter as a stray. I`m about 5 months old and weigh about 28lbs. I`m super friendly puppy that needs a home. I need someone with a lot of patience because I need more time to be socialize with people and with other new dogs. I`m comfortable being around my litter mate who came with me to the shelter. I will need a lot of training so I can learn basic commands, learn how to walk on a leash and house training.I probably would be good in a home with a nice family with a yard so I can learn how to be a dog! Would need to have slow introduction with children just because how under socialize and shy I am. Can also do slow introduction with cats. When I eventually come out of my shell I will be a type of dog that would enjoy going on vacations and curl up on a bed to sleep after a hard day of playing. Finding a loving home is my biggest wish of all!!If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pmMy adoption fee is being Sponsored by Macomb County Animal Control.
