Adopt Gulliver a Red/Golden/Orange/Chestnut Bichon Frise / Shih Tzu / Mixed dog

8-9 years old Shih tzu mix Apricot & White Neutered male 12-13 pounds Impaired hearing Gulliver is a very sweet boy. He was found as a stray and he came to stay with me needing to be neutered and have some dental work done. The surgery went well and he is fully recovered. I have truly enjoyed having him for the last 2 months. He is a good boy and has an easy going and chill personality and is very loving. He likes to be near you and I often find him right beside me. He loves to nap on the couch or in his bed but at night prefers to sleep on my bed. His favourite place is the bay window and he loves to watch the world. He can be left alone at home for several hours with no issues. He eats well and loves his treats. He likes his toys but loves his stuffed frog. He is housebroken and loves exploring the backyard. He would do best in a home with a fenced backyard. He has not been exposed to young children here but is good with older children and other dogs. He has been friendly and loving with everyone he has encountered in my home. He needs work with walking on leash. He likes to go for walks but has issues when he encounters people and other dogs, he becomes over excited and pulls on the leash. He doesn't much like the car, he is unsettled and often barks. He was recently groomed and it was a good experience, he had no issues and the groomer said he was easy to handle. He is a lovely boy!! May 28, 2024, 10:30 am
