Lucy was found abandoned as a puppy and spent the last five months in a boarding kennel waiting for a rescue to have an opening. She was transferred to us May 7th. Lucy is a sweet, cuddly girl, with a lot of energy. Her tail is always wagging as she learns what life with a family is like. She loves to zoom around the backyard and is learning to play with toys. She quietly sleeps in her kennel at night and goes potty outside only. Lucy still seems overwhelmed with everything new (walks, loud noises etc) but is showing a lot of potential! Her jumping up is getting better and we are practicing to sit for treats. She is still shy but she will come for belly rubs and is ready to give all her love to her humans. Lucy is looking for a home with another dog to help build her confidence.
