Hi everyone, I'm Stuart, but my friends call me Stewie! I'm a happy-go-lucky pup that's ready to steal your heart! I start my day with the biggest stretches and ready for a snuggle. I love affection, so I'm looking for someone who can spend lots of time with me. I love to go for walks to explore, play in the backyard and meet new people. Once I get to know kids and other dogs, I'm great with them. I'm curious about cats, and I wish they'd play with me. My manners are top-notch and I'm super trainable. I'm fully crate and potty-trained. The vet can't quite tell what breeds I am, but know that I'm a good boy who's going to keep growing! If you're looking for a family member that is very loving and full of energy, please adopt me. I promise to be the "goodest" boy in your neighborhood.Adoption processAll adoptions begin with an adoption application, available here or on our website (or from one of our wonderful volunteers in person). The application is reviewed by the adoptable animal's foster home as well as by the appropriate coordinator (canine/feline) to assess how the animal will fit in your home. We endeavour to respond to all applications within 72 hours, but being 100% run by volunteers sometimes we need additional time--if you haven't heard back after 72 hours, feel free to contact us to check in on your application. Canine Adoption Fees:$450 for puppies under 1 year of age$375 for dogs over 1 year & under 7 years$300 for dogs 7 years and older Feline Adoption Fees:$250 for kittens and cats up to 12 months old$200 for cats between 1-6 years old$150 for cats 6 years old and older Adoption fees help offset the cost to our organization of providing full medical care (including spay or neuter surgery) to each animal we adopt to a furever home.Shelter locationCheck our Facebook page for our adoption end fundraising events! www.facebook.com/barrheadanimalrescuesociety
