FOR ADOPTION: Now that the holidays are over our sweet GRINCHY is ready to take his heart that’s grown three sizes larger and give all of his love to a very special family. Grinchy is an approximately 1 year old male that was found sealed in a tote along the side of the highway with his heavily pregnant girlfriend Martha May in early December. The two young cats were extremely lucky to have been found when they were. Martha May moved into a foster home where she had and is raising her babies and Grinchy was neutered and is now looking for his forever family. Grinchy is a sweet, personable and cuddly young cat that gets along well with people of all ages. He has been comfortable around calm and friendly dogs and good with other friendly cats. Grinchy is so ready to get out of the shelter and settle into his forever home. He has been very content indoor only at the shelter but could adjust to an indoor/outdoor lifestyle in a safe environment. He is neutered, vaccinated and up to date on parasite control. This usually includes deworming, revolution (for mites and fleas) and vaccinations. Adult animals are all spayed or neutered before adoption and all puppies/kittens are required to be spayed or neutered as soon as they are old enough. Potential adopters must be willing to travel to Smithers to pick up their new pet. To apply for a pet please complete an adoption application online (www.nwas.ca) or download and return it to NWAS by email (XXXX@nwas.ca) or mail (Box 3064, Smithers, BC, V0J 2N0) if your application is approved we will then set up a meeting.
