Introducing Elvis, the latest addition to our rescue! At 11 months old and 14lbs, this Schnauzer is recovering from his neuter and settling into his foster home. Elvis is seeking a patient and understanding family who can provide him with a calm, all-adult environment where he can thrive. Although he's cautious around new surroundings and people, Elvis has a sweet side waiting to blossom. He enjoys the company of other dogs and finds solace sitting beside trusted humans on the couch. He will need leash training as he does bark at other dogs and people on his walks. Elvis would benefit greatly from socialization classes. Applications open on May 8th, so if you have the patience and love to offer, consider giving Elvis the forever home he deserves! ••••••••• As my foster family gets to know me my profile can change and will be updated accordingly. Please note that although many of our dogs get along with children, we are not able to adopt to any household with kids under the age of 8 years old. This is a stipulation of our insurance and is not a reflection on suitability of the potential adopter.Adoption processWe have an application process. All applications are subject to reference checks, home checks prior to meeting any of our dogs. All adopters are required to sign an adoption contract and must adhere to requirements stated in this contract, and follow ups are done post adoption. Our rescue is solely run by volunteers, we strive to return calls and inquiries within a 24 hour period. You will be contacted only if the foster family believes you may be a match.
