DOB: March 7th, 2019 Oxford is a healthy, sweet and handsome boy. He loves morning cuddles and will come to greet you as soon as you are up. He loves pets and can become a purring machine in no time. He likes to sleep with his humans too, so he would love to sleep on the corner of your bed every night. He may be a tall boy but he can curl up very small, so don’t worry he won’t take up too much room on your bed. He also has a soft and cute meow that makes him sound more like a kitten than the big cat that he is. Oxford is quite talkative too and likes to have conversations with his humans. You’ll often find him on the couch soaking up the sun or looking outside the windows enjoying watching birds. He is also a good player and he loves to chase lasers in the house. Oxford was a picky eater when he first arrived but he has found a food that he likes. He especially likes to be pet while eating. Ox is still adjusting to the resident cat in his foster home but would be better suited in a house without another cat. He might get used to living with another cat but he would need a lot of time and patience. Oxford doesn't like to be alone and loves to have people around and in the same room as him.Adoption processAdoption fee is $200 per adult cat, and $250 for kittens (under 8 months old). This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way! Note: -Senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopter's choice, vs. our standard adult adoption fee of $200.-Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair (8 months or older) is $150 per cat vs. $200 per cat.
