Boots and Not Boots came into the care of HSHPE as strays that were not claimed. These boys have taken time settling in and trusting humans. They have come a long way but are still a work in progress - sometimes they lack manners while interacting with their humans. While they enjoy bum scratches, they can get worked up easily and will swat when they have had enough. Food is one way to their heart! They thrive off of puzzle feeders as they often eat their kibble to quickly. They also love churru lick tubes! The other way to their heart is through play. Boots and Not Boots will play with any and all toys. Sometimes they get a little too excited about toys and view them as a snack, because of this they cannot have any toys with feathers or strings of any sort. They love wand toys but these must be used with supervised play time. Boots and Not Boots also LOVE cardboard boxes - they spend a lot of time sleep and chewing on their boxes here at the shelter. These boys are excellent hunters and are sure to keep mice out of your home! Other Cats- yes given a slow proper introduction. Dogs - unknown. Can be dog tested with an approved application. Kids - No. 14+ years.
