Microchipped, DOB: Jan 28, 2018 Fiona is a highly affectionate cat who loves to be around you. She will often follow you around from room to room and just sit with you for hours. Fiona loves to look outside screen doors where she can hear nature and look at birds and passing cars/people. She also likes to go on balconies in sit in the sun as long as it is peaceful outside. Fiona loves to be brushed, pet and scratched all over. She does get scared and nervous around other cats, squirrels, and people if they are unfamiliar or approach her quickly. She does have her nervous quirks, however, she is so loving and sweet once she warms up to you. Fiona has the softest (sometimes completely silent) meow, which she will use to try to get your attention when she wants to be pet. She loves to try to open doors and she is also lovingly a little bit daft, which is just part of her charm. Special note from the foster family: Fiona and Ruthie are both very sweet, calm, and well behaved cats. They are very shy at first and will definitely take some time to warm up to you. However, once they do, they are extremely affectionate and friendly around people they have become familiar with. They do not like strangers and would thrive in a calm environment without loud noises, children, or other pets. Thank you for giving two best friends a loving home together! Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair is $150 per cat, versus our standard fee of $200 per adult cat.Adoption processAdoption fee is $200 per adult cat, and $250 for kittens (under 8 months old). This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way! Note: -Senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopter's choice, vs. our standard adult adoption fee of $200.-Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair (8 months or older) is $150 per cat vs. $200 per cat.
