Microchipped, DOB: Jan 28, 2018 Ruthie is a calm and loving cat. She likes to come to you for pets and will brush against your leg for attention when she wants it. She can be energetic at times and likes to run and play with Fiona and her toys. She tends to sit in areas where she can watch you and stay near you. She likes to sleep with you if you allow it and will lay tucked into you. Ruthie loves to be brushed, pet and scratched everywhere, especially her whiskers! Although Ruthie is smaller and younger than Fiona, she acts more mature and commanding in their relationship. You will find that she is extremely intelligent for a sweet little cat. Something special about Ruthie is her very loud purr that you wouldn’t expect from such a small little thing. She almost never meows, but often makes little squeak noises instead. Once she is comfortable with you, she will immediately flop over to have her belly scratched when you approach her. Special note from the foster family: Fiona and Ruthie are both very sweet, calm, and well behaved cats. They are very shy at first and will definitely take some time to warm up to you. However, once they do, they are extremely affectionate and friendly around people they have become familiar with. They do not like strangers and would thrive in a calm environment without loud noises, children, or other pets. Thank you for giving two best friends a loving home together! Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair is $150 per cat, versus our standard fee of $200 per adult cat.Adoption processAdoption fee is $200 per adult cat, and $250 for kittens (under 8 months old). This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way! Note: -Senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopter's choice, vs. our standard adult adoption fee of $200.-Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair (8 months or older) is $150 per cat vs. $200 per cat.
