Adopt SARAH (S. Korea) yo a Brown/Chocolate - with Black Jindo dog in Langley

Location:
Langley, BC
Description:

Greetings. My name is SARAH and here is a little info about me:Breed: Jindo mixAge: 7 MonthsGender: FemaleWeight: 30 lbs. (14 kg)Height: 18.5 inches (47 cm)Highlights: moderate, loves people, clever, calm, well behaved, sweet, easy bather, quiet, gentle, easy-goingHi fellas! it’s a pleasure to meet you. My brother, Keelan (Kevin), and I were found tied up separately on a farm in a rural area of South Korea. The owner was keeping us there and checking up on us once a day. He had plans to breed us because apparently our parents were good dogs, and he wanted to continue the genes. Once our rescuer found out who our owner was, she offered to pay for spay and neuter surgery. After a bit of discussion, our owner agreed with our rescuer's idea. He even gave up ownership of both of us (to our relief!) Even though it was very difficult for our rescuer to take us on, she couldn’t leave us there for our lifetime as we had been. So she made it happen. She decided the best thing for us was to find a loving family in Canada, and that’s what brings my posting here to you. Even though I haven’t had the greatest experience with people, I am a huge people person! I am quite affectionate and just love being with people, as well as exchanging intimate feelings with them. I am also so very gentle. https://youtu.be/yarI2ilipqQ .I am not afraid of much, however, I don’t like being left alone. I don’t have separation anxiety, but I will just sit by the door until you come back. That’s how much I love people! I have had two fosters (first with a male and a small dog, second with a lady and two cats) in a big city so far since being rescued, I always got easily acclimated to my new environment. Both Keelan (Kevin) and I have not let our traumatic experiences affect our personalities. I walk well on a leash and am potty trained. I also ride well in a car and do fine with other dogs https://youtube.com/shorts/jiyzj3pviDc and cats as well! (see photos!). Also, more good news, bathing me is super easy! https://youtu.be/rkDGHROucZA . I am such a doll during bathtime. I stay still the entire time AND I don’t bark at all. Will you make my dream come true, so we can finally live the life any dog deserves?Energy level: moderate to lowI get along with:Other dogs: yesCats: yesKids: yesFears: None observed. Please be patient in assisting me in my transition.Training: leash & houseLeash training: Yes. Please be prepared to continue training.House trained: Yes. Please help me learn where to go in my new home.Health notes:I am spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Received 4DX snap tests. My adoption fee is 800.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada if I am able to be accompanied by a fight volunteer directly to Vancouver. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. [MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East. [TURKEY] *Dogs receive 4D SNAP tests - which include: Heartworm, Ehrlichiosis, Leishmania and Anaplasmosis. ##1791002##
