FOR ADOPTION: SYLVESTER is an approximately 2.5 year old male that is looking for a forever family that will surround him with love and security. This adorable fella was abandoned by his first owner and left with a caring woman that was not prepared to take care of him long term. Sylvester arrived at NWAS shut down and scared. Patience, compassion, and a bit of wet food treats had this cutie starting to open up to our staff and volunteers and showing us all his cuddly and friendly side. The more Sylvester settles into his life at the shelter and shows us his true self the more we can’t help but love him. Sylvester is affectionate and cuddly boy that really wants to connect with his special person and give them all of his heart. He has been submissive and gentle in his interactions with other cats and has been non reactive to calm dogs. Sylvester would do well with calmer and gentle children but does get overwhelmed with loud noises and busy environments. He is looking for an indoor only home where he will feel safe to be his full self. Sylvester is neutered, vaccinated and up to date on parasite control.
