**********************************************LYDIA must be the only cat in the house.*************************************************IN FOSTER***From a galaxy far, far, away, a ravishing calico beauty has graced us with her presence...it's Lydia!An owner surrender, Lydia was a bit disoriented upon landing at EHS, but she is now acclimating to this unfamiliar nebula and seeking a new home planet. Lydia will no doubt take some time to come out of the safety of her spaceship after she journeys to her forever home. Fortunately, our volunteers at the shelter have found that she has a soft spot for laser toys (how fitting!), and this might just help you speak her language. Now in foster, she is calm, happy and spends most of her time out in the open. Lydia is vocal at meal times and when she is looking for attention - of course she is looking to see which other life forms are out there to give her pets. The ideal adopter for Lydia is someone who is patient and can read cat body language. She will require time, as well as lots of love, patience, and care, to build trust and flourish. We have learned that Lydia strongly dislikes having other felines in her orbit, and dogs or small children may similarly disrupt the balance in her solar system. Lydia is on a journey to settle down on a planet where she can thrive as her best self. Will you open your home to Lydia? Take home an adult feline friend for your kitty and the adoption fee for the pair is $300! For kittens under six months of age, the adoption fee is $200...Or double your cuteness quotient and adopt two wee furballs for $350! If you mix and match (kitten plus cat), the adoption fee is $300. Each of our cats is spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, snap tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption.
